Serving as ambassadors for Vancouver, we have reached audiences across the country and around the globe. In 2019 we traveled to India, promoting tourism and eroding political barriers between our countries. Our performances in the Punjab of India were particularly rewarding as we attended during the festival of Vaisakhi and the 100th anniversary of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre as well as the changing of the guard ceremonies at the Wagah border. Our participation garnered significant attention, and our band was on the front page of every major newspaper in India. Additionally, we were able to support some local charities doing fantastic work to provide medical, life skills, and human rights in the rural areas of Punjab.
